Program Year Resumes ~ September 16
All are welcome to deepen their faith (and share some donuts) as we resume our education and formation opportunities: Christian Education classes for all ages meets from 9:00-9:45 a.m. each Sunday, Children’s Chapel gathers during the 10:00 a.m. service, Coffee Hour and fellowship follows the 10:00 a.m. service, and Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) for youth in grades 6-12 meets from 5:00-7:00 p.m. This is an exciting time of the year with many opportunities for parishioners to deepen their relationship with God and our parish family. Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) Messy Sunday ~ September 23
We invite all youth in grades 6-12 to join us for Messy Sunday and dinner as we kickoff our first EYC of the year. We meet at 5:00 p.m. for messy games. Make sure to wear clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting messy and can run around in. We will finish up with dinner by 7:00 p.m. To help, provide supplies or for details, contact Cindy Rott.
Aging Gracefully with Fitness & Faith ~ September 26
Aging Gracefully with Fitness and Faith, a course led by Joan Townshend and Betty Knickerbocker, will be held at Woods Church on Wednesday, September 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Increase your day to day eagerness about this time of life by improving your spiritual and physical vitality. This one day workshop will include body movement, poetry, music, and reflection time for your spiritual journey. For more information contact Joan Townshend.
Cornhole & Cookout ~ September 30
Please join the St. Martin’s-in-the-Field J2A Youth Group for the First Annual St. Martin’s Cornhole Tourney! Interested players may sign up as a team or as individuals joining a team (click here for details and to register). Play starts at 3:00 p.m. to be followed by the Parish Cookout at 5:00 p.m. Not a player, no worries, come cheer us on and join us for the cookout afterwards. Parish Cookout cost is $20 per family. All proceeds support the J2A Pilgrimage to Greece 2019.
Many Rivers Adult Forum Series ~ October 7
The Many Rivers group aims to address the effects of injustice and poverty in the world around us, and in so doing be the “face of Christ” in our community. The first step is to educate ourselves to the issues of poverty in our community with a series of six Adult Forums. They will be at 9:00 on Sundays in the Parish Hall, starting October 7. Episcopal School Sunday ~ October 14
St. Martin’s-in-the-Field will celebrate Episcopal School Sunday. Our school will host an Admissions Open House for prospective families and a school wide STEAM fair, all are invited following the 10:00 a.m. service. Bible Challenge Group ~ Weekly on Tuesdays

Choir Rehearsals ~ Weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays
For those seeking to praise God through music, we invite you to join our choirs. We are friendly and supportive and would love to have you join us. We have rehearsals for Hand Bell Choir, Tuesday nights at 5:30 p.m. and Adult Choir, Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested or would like more details, please contact the Director of Music Ministries, Dr. Hye Sung Hwang.
