Lemonade on the Lawn ~ Weekly on Sundays

Join your St. Martin’s parish family after the 10:00 a.m. service during the summer for a time of simple refreshment and fellowship. Weather permitting, we will gather outside for lemonade and cookies.



Meet & Eat Summer Cookouts ~ August 21 

Please join us for our last cook out of the summer at 6:00 p.m. for fellowship and delicious food. Suggested donation is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family. Side dishes or desserts are greatly appreciated. For more information, or to help grill please contact John Theune.

Summer Bible Study ~ August 21 & 28

Looking for a summer read? How about a book by Jesus’ brother, James? Join us for a 5 week study of the book of James. This New Testament book is short but has much wisdom to offer. Come whether this is your first or 50th bible study. All are welcome and feel free to bring a friend. We will meet at 7:00 p.m. in St. Martin’s House upstairs conference room. Keys of Summer Piano Recital ~ August 30

Come hear the music of Mozart, Chopin and Rachmaninoff as played by Dr. HyeSung Hwang. This family friendly concert begins at 6:00 p.m. All Are Welcome. Free Admission. Donations accepted and greatly appreciated for our music ministries. Suggested donation of $15.00 per family. Light refreshments to follow. Click here for details:

Choir Rehearsals Resume ~ September 5

Are you ready to bring glory to the Lord and lift our hearts in His praise through music? Then join us  as we resume rehearsals for Hand Bell choir, at 5:30 p.m., and Adult choir, at 7:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, September 5. The choir will resume singing during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service on September 8, Invitation Sunday. For details contact Dr. Hwang.

Invitation Sunday ~ September 8

St. Martin’s program year begins Sunday, September 8 and you are invited to not only “attend” but, like our faith lives, participate fully.  More importantly, you are invited to invite others on this special day of welcome: friends, other family members, neighbors, co-workers…
everyone is invited.

8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist and special welcome for those who have been invited to St. Martin’s.

9:00 a.m. Open House for all of St. Martin’s Ministries – NOW is your chance to find a ministry that speaks to your heart and help make our world more like the kingdom Jesus proclaims.

10:00 a.m. During our worship service we will bless backpacks for those returning to school.
Commissioning of our Sunday School and Youth program mentors.
Special welcome for those who have been invited to St. Martin’s today.

11:15 a.m. Parish luncheon and games.  Enjoy time for fellowship and reconnecting our
parish family after the summer.

Program Year Resumes ~ September 15

All are welcome to deepen their faith (and share some donuts) as we resume our education and formation opportunities: Christian Education classes for all ages meet from 9:00-9:45 a.m. each Sunday; Children’s Chapel gathers during the 10:00 a.m. service; Coffee Hour and fellowship follows the 10:00 a.m. service, and Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) for youth in grades 6-12 meets from 5:00-7:00 p.m. This is an exciting time of the year with many opportunities for parishioners too deepen their relationship with God and our parish family. Bible Challenge Group ~ Weekly on Tuesdays                   

All are welcome to join us as we begin year two of the challenge to read the Bible in chronological order. You don’t need to have been with us previously to join. We will be using The Chronological Study Bible and The Chronological Guide to the Bible; Explore God’s Word in Historical Order. All are welcome for Bible fellowship every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in St. Martin’s House. For questions and more details contact Cindy Neseth.

Cursillo Ultreya ~ Monthly on Third Friday

Gathering of the St. Martin’s and St. Andrew’s Cursillo community and supporters. Usually includes music and refreshments. Join us in the church at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome, come check us out. Questions? Contact Wamahdri Williams.
