Christian Education classes for all ages meets from 9:00-9:45 a.m.

Animate : Faith Adult Forum All adults are invited to join us in Parish Hall for a series of videos and discussions centered on faith.  This dynamic series will feature thoughts from a leading contemporary Christian thinker on topics such as God, Spirituality, the Cross, and the Church. The Bible Workbench helps center us in the readings from the Scriptures appointed on Sunday, and asks thoughtful questions that assist us in our conversation. Join us any time. Contact Rev. John Price.

Intergenerational First Fruits Farm Trip ~ October 20

Come and be a part of this amazing afternoon of service in the fields. All are welcome to join us following the 10:00 a.m. service for a pizza lunch before we depart for First Fruits Farm (FFF). Be sure to dress appropriately for weather and mud – you will get dirty (no sandals or flip-flops). We plan to return to St. Martin’s about 5:00-5:30 p.m. FFF requires an online waiver from each individual prior to our arrival. To submit a waiver visit our website and go to Parish Life, Sign Ups. Calling all Singers ~ October 20

You are invited to sing Here I Am, Lord with the adult choir next Sunday, October 20 during the 10:00 a.m. service. Please join the Sunday morning rehearsal at 9:20 a.m. The sheet music will be provided and you can sing any part you would like. Please contact Dr. HyeSung Hwang for more details.

Contemporary Christian Writers ~ October 23

All are welcome to join this book group as we discuss The Universal Christ, by Richard Rohr, who writes: “A cosmic notion of the Christ competes with and excludes no one, but includes everyone and everything and allows Jesus Christ to finally be a God figure worthy of the entire universe.” Meetings take place every other Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Sylvia and Lee Marstons’ home, 17 Linstead Rd, Severna Park. Many Rivers: Mental Health First Aid Training ~ October 29 & November 5

The Many Rivers Behavioral Health Group is offering a Mental Health First Aid Class on October 29 and November 5 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Parish Hall. This course will teach participants about mental health and substance-use issues. The cost is $30 which includes materials and dinner. Registration required by October 23. Payment will be collected at the class. Join us for this exciting effort to be an active part of the community around us, and becoming the face of Christ in our community. J2A Lock In ~ November 2-3

Youth in grades 8-9 currently in or interesting in joining J2A are welcome to join us for our first Lock-in. Arrive at church at 6:00 pm for dinner followed with our overnight in Lower Heck Hall, playing games and watching movies. Contact Roy Wallace.

Candy Tithe ~ November 3

All who are trick-or-treating this year are invited to participate in our Annual Candy Tithe. Once you have an abundance of candy, think about how you might share that with others. A “tithe” is 10%–so maybe count your candy and out of every 10 pieces, select 1 to give in the offering at Church during the 10:00 a.m. service. All the collected candy will be given to SPAN. For those seeking to be baptized, our next Baptism date is Sunday, November 3. Please contact Rev. Matthew or Rev. Nathan. The following Baptism date is: Sunday, January 12, 2020 (Epiphany).

St. Martin’s Christmas Mart ~ December 7

We hope to see you at our annual Christmas Mart from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There will be handcrafted gifts and decorations from local artisans, boxwood trees, wreaths and poinsettias, plus the White Elephant Sale and silent auction. Hand Bell Choir Rehearsal ~ Weekly on Sundays

Bring glory to the Lord and lift our hearts in His praise through music. All are welcome to join the Hand Bell choir. Rehearsals following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Contact Dr. Hwang.

Bible Challenge Group ~ Weekly on Tuesdays                   

All are welcome to join us as we begin year two of the challenge to read the Bible in chronological order. You don’t need to have been with us previously to join. We will be using The Chronological Study Bible and The Chronological Guide to the Bible; Explore God’s Word in Historical Order. All are welcome for Bible fellowship every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in St. Martin’s House lower conference room. Contact Cindy Neseth.

The Shepherd’s Group ~ Weekly on Thursdays

Parish Choir Rehearsal ~ Weekly on Thursdays

Moms In Prayer ~ Monthly on Second Tuesday

Cursillo Ultreya ~ Monthly on Third Friday
