Christian Education classes for all ages meets from 9:00-9:50 a.m.:
  • The Bible Workbench helps center us in the readings from the Scriptures appointed on Sunday, and asks thoughtful questions that assist us in our conversation. Join us any time. Contact Rev. John Price.
  • Children and Youth: Sunday School (age 4-grade 5): Downstairs (SMES Preschool; Rite-13: Middle School; J2A: Heck Hall (Lower); YAC: Middle School; Seniors: St. Martin’s House (Upper). Register your child or youth.

Children’s Chapel: During the 10:00 a.m. service, as we sing the Sequence Hymn, all children, 3 years old to 2nd grade, are invited to gather in the back of the church with the Children’s Chapel adult leaders.  Children’s Chapel is located in Parish Hall and the children will rejoin their parents during the Peace. We warmly welcome volunteers of all ages to join us in teaching the homily to our children. Contact Rev. Nathan.

Episcopal Youth Community (EYC): Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to join us from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for dinner and activities. 
Usually we meet in Parish Hall however meeting locations change weekly

JANUARY 24  |  SMES Spaghetti Dinner: You are invited to our Episcopal school’s Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, January 24 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. For details call the school office, (410) 647-7055.

JANUARY 25  |  St. Martin’s Polar Bear Plunge:  For our 4th consecutive year, Team St. Martin’s-in-the-Field will brave the frigid waters of the Chesapeake Bay in support of  Special Olympics for the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge.  This year’s plunge will take place on Saturday, January 25 at Sandy Point State Park. FEBRUARY 1 | Chili Cook Off:  Save the date for this year’s J2A Chili Cook Off – “a World of Chili.” Be a chef or a taster and help the youth raise funds for their 2021 Pilgrimage. Starts at 5:00 p.m. in Parish Hall. $5 per person, $20 per family, $1 per vote (hey, this is a fundraiser!). The J2A Youth will also be offering Silent Auction items, sharing their time and talent in support of the Pilgrimage, so plan to bid early and often. Sign up online today! FEBRUARY 2  |  Super Bowl Party: Join us  on Super Bowl Sunday beginning at 6:00 p.m. (kick off is 6:30 p.m.) Bring your own drinks, and any snacks or appetizers you would like to share. The main course will be provided. This event is open to all, including kids. There is a free will offering. FEBRUARY 7-9  |  Claggett Center Men’s Weekend  Retreat: “Love Yourself. Love Your Neighbor.” Join men from around the Diocese for a weekend of fellowship, worship, and prayer at the Claggett Center. Explore the commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself:” recalling God’s deep and abiding love for us, we can be better equipped to show God’s love to others in our lives. FEBRUARY 7-9  |  Diocesan Youth Happening #12: A weekend retreat for youth grades 9-12, to deepen their relationship with Jesus and make connections with those on similar spiritual journeys. Each year is a surprise with a special theme, activities and events. General activities include large group talks, small group discussion, prayer through art, games and time spent enjoying the outdoors. For more details and to register click here. FEBRUARY 12  |  Episcopal Advocacy Day: Learn about our legislative priorities, meet your legislators and network with your peers. From 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Miller Senate Office Building, Annapolis. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register online. For questions contact Cynthia Neseth.
FEBRUARY 16  |  Bingo For All:  All are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall at 5:00 p.m. for an evening of fun. Bring regifts and used treasures for the prizes, or a dessert to share. Hand Bell Choir Rehearsal ~ Weekly on Sundays: Bring glory to the Lord and lift our hearts in His praise through music. All are welcome to join the Hand Bell choir. Rehearsals following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Contact Dr. Hwang.

Bible Challenge Group ~ Weekly on Tuesdays: All are welcome to join us as we begin year two of the challenge to read the Bible in chronological order. You don’t need to have been with us previously to join. We will be using The Chronological Study Bible and The Chronological Guide to the Bible; Explore God’s Word in Historical Order. All are welcome for Bible fellowship every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in St. Martin’s House lower conference room. Contact Cindy Neseth.

Contemporary Christian Writers ~ Bi Weekly on Wednesdays:  All are welcome to join this book group as we discuss The Universal Christ, by Richard Rohr. Meetings take place every other Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Sylvia and Lee Marstons’ home, 17 Linstead Rd, Severna Park. The Shepherd’s Group ~ Weekly on Thursdays:  These lectionary Bible reflection meetings are open to all. Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Meeting held off campus. For details and location contact Sylvia Marston, (410) 647-7493.

Moms In Prayer ~ Monthly on Second Tuesday:  We would love to have you join us as we lift our children and schools in prayer. We meet at 10:00 a.m. in the basement of St. Martin’s house. Questions? Feel free to ask Sarah Parkison.
